Patch v6

Another patch is here! The biggest one - at least in raw “work” hours - since the very first version. I learned a lot and changed (again) a large part of the code; due to the lockdowns I had an unusually high amount of free time so I use it to work on the game, thou I am starting to go a lit crazy.

There is now a new Spawn pulse setting for you to play with. This is quite a unique option so let's get to explaining. When enabled, the game will occasionally spawn random blocks at all lines at the same time. Your goal is, ofcourse, to correctly hit as many blocks as possible. The unique feature is point gain - the blocks will not give you points according to the standard calculation, instead you get a multiplying bonus depending on number for correct hits. When you hit 1 block you will get 1x10 points, when you hit 2 you will get 2x20 points, for 3 hits 3x30 points and so on for up to 360 points. To make it not “auto on” choice for point gain, the pulse will block spawn interval 1 second before and after the pulse. So, depending on your setting, you will need to correctly hit at least 2 or 3 blocks to get more points from the pulse than from a regular spawn interval. This setting will not interact with the Single block type option (maybe in the future). Please note that the values can change in the future.

Second new feature is Line spacing setting which controls horizontal spacing between points (2 on the left, 1 in the middle and 2 on the right). Wider spacing means you need to move more but you will get more points. Also, there is special interaction with Spawn walls option - two wall types will only spawn when both options are enabled.

Also, the game should now save and load your setting and score - yay, finally!

For now I am still working on a new environment model - there are two test render on my Twitter for anyone who is interested. It's going surprisingly well, but it will be some time before I get it into the game. Also, I am getting close to having all intended mechanics for this game mode so I am starting to work on second (and possibly third) mode.
